Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday, December 1, addressed the nation ahead of the Parliament’s Winter Session. He stated that India has a lived democracy and the recently finished Bihar election turnout is a display of the power of the country’s democracy, citing and praising the huge participation of women voters. He also unleashed a barrage of jibes at the Opposition, asking the parties not to do ‘drama’, requesting the Opposition to focus on delivering a productive parliament session for the countrymen. He stated that Opposition parties appeared ‘unsettled’ following the massive defeat in the Bihar Assembly Polls
