DUSU Elections 2025: The elections for the Delhi University Students’ Union (DUSU) 2025 are scheduled to be conducted on Thursday, September 18. More than 2.7 lakh students are expected to vote for the Delhi University Election. The students from different DU Colleges will vote for different candidates.
The DUSU Elections are being held across 195 polling stations, with almost 700 electronic voting machines installed at various Delhi University Colleges. Candidates are representing parties like ABVP (Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad), NSUI (National Students’ Union of India), AAP (Aam Aadmi Party), and Left Alliance.
The DUSU Poll results are going to decide the designations of the president, vice-president, secretary, and joint secretary. It will also determine the representatives for multiple college-level offices of the university.
The DUSU Election Date, as announced earlier, is September 18. The DUSU elections voting is to take place in two shifts. For the DU students of day colleges, the swift timing is 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM and for the DU students of night colleges, the shift timing is 3:00 PM to 7:30 PM.
It’s highly expected that more than 2.7 lakh students will vote for the DUSU elections. The students from 52 colleges of Delhi University are eligible to vote for choosing the president, vice-president, secretary, and joint secretary.
21 candidates are standing for the Delhi University Students’ Union elections. The candidates are representing various parties like ABVP (Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad), NSUI (National Students’ Union of India), AAP (Aam Aadmi Party), and Left Alliance.
The election results for the Delhi University Students’ Union polls will be counted on Friday. Nearly 700 electronic voting machines (EVMs) are installed at almost 195 polling stations for smooth voting.
