New Delhi, June 25: Most of the Islamic nations like Qatar, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Kenya, Australia etc will be celebrating Eid Al-Fitr on Sunday while Asian nations like India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and others would observe Chand Raat today. If the Eid moon would be spotted in above regions today, Eid-al-Fitr would be celebrated tomorrow. In the case of no sighting of the moon, the Eid prayers would be held on Tuesday.

Muslims across Asia will be looking to break the month-long fast. A Times of India report suggests that keeping Eid in mind, the security arrangements have been tightened in several parts of Yogi Adityanath-led Uttar Pradesh. Heavy security has been deployed in places like Ayodhya, Faizabad to make sure peace in these areas prevails. SSP Subhash Singh Baghel of Faizabad said that police in strength has been deployed in important areas and around mosques. He on the same note further stated that around 2,000 police personnels will be guarding Ayodhya and Faizabad.

Due to this precious festival of Muslims, even the domestic airlines increased the fare as they were being loaded due to holidays. As per Times of India, it has been learned that the cheapest flight outbound Mumbai was priced somewhere around 12,300 rupees and this was a one-way amount.

Sunset in Delhi, India will be at 7.23 PM. In Karachi, the sun will set at 7.25 PM. People in Dhaka will be looking for the first sight of the moon at 6.49 PM and in Colombo, Sri Lanka the sunset will be at 6.29 PM.
