New Delhi: A month after getting expelled from the JDU for anti-party activities, political strategist Prashant Kishore will on Tuesday visit Patna to formally announce his future course of action. His visit to Patna assumes significance in the backdrop of the Assembly polls in the state due in October.
On January 30, Kishore had said that he will visit Patna in the month of February to make formal announcement of his next plan of action. “I will formally speak about my plans for the future in February in Patna (Bihar). Until then I am not speaking to anyone,” Kishor had earlier said.
Last month, the JDU has expelled Kishor along with Pavan Varma for allegedly indulging in anti-party activities.
The move to sack the two leaders from the party came after they repeatedly questioned Chief Minister Nitish Kumar-led party’s stand on the newly enacted CAA.
While Varma questioned the JDU’s alliance with the BJP in Delhi Assembly polls, Kishor questioned the party’s stand on the issue of CAA and NRC.
Reacting to their difference with the party, JDU supremo Kumar had earlier said that the two leaders could leave the party and go wherever they wanted.
Kishor’s Indian Political Action Committee (I-PAC) was overseeing the political campaign of Arvind Kejriwal and the Aam Delhi Party (AAP) in Delhi Assembly polls.
