#ExposingKumarVishwas: AAP National Executive Kumar Vishwas accused of adultery and accepting black money

Ever since Kumar Vishwas was accused of sleeping with a volunteer, the hashtag #ExposingKumarVishwas is topping the trends on micro blogging site Twitter.

Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) National Executive Kumar Vishwas has come under the radar for accepting black money as bribe and also allegedly sleeping with a volunteer student. A person named Ajay Vohra has complained against Kumar Vishwas, accusing him of taking bribes and also being involved in a relationship with an AAP volunteer. Lately Arvind Kejriwal’s AAP is under a lot of scrutiny and media attention with rifts within the party. With this particular case of Vishwas, the party has invited a fresh ruckus.

The news of Vishwas’ affair hit the headlines as a result of a chain of emails exchanged between Kejriwal and him being leaked. The incident of adultery reportedly took place during the 2014 Lok Sabha Elections when  Vishwas was contesting from Amethi. His wife had also allegedly caught him red-handed with the volunteer in a compromising position.

English newspaper DNA has access to the emails sent by Vohra accusing Vishwas of accepting black money and having physical relations with the volunteer. Vohra apparently also has access to some audio clips about the two incidents but has steered clear of sharing them so as not to tarnish AAP’s image that has already had a beating. The email in question had also been sent to other AAP leaders, including Prashant Bhushan, Yogendra Yadav, Ashish Khetan, Manish Sisodia, Sanjay Singh and Ashish Talwar. Ever since the revelation, the hashtag #ExposingKumarVishwas is topping the trends on micro-blogging site Twitter.  We share with you some of the tweets of #ExposingKumarVishwas.

There has been no investigation in the case yet. Amidst all the ongoing ruckus in AAP, this adds to the woes of the party. What makes this particular case even more interesting is the fact that the AAPtards are defending Kumar with lame logic. (Edited by Shweta Parande)
