It’s just one crazed fan telling everyone he’s a jabra fan of this actor.

Yash Raj Films has released the first track of their upcoming Shah Rukh Khan-starrer, “Fan.” The song, “Jabra Fan,” is also being labeled as #FanAnthem, i.e. the official song of the movie.

With catchy beats and colorful visuals, the song and lyrics make up a true and heartfelt love story—only, it isn’t the love of a couple, per se. The song is dedicated by a fan (Shahrukh Khan as Gaurav) to his superstar idol (Shahrukh Khan as Aryan Khan). You got it folks; SRK is singing a ballad for SRK! Can it get any more meta?

However, our favorite Bollywood hero is quite unrecognizable in his common man avatar as he parades across the city dreaming about his idol. SRK has truly transformed himself in this movie and he looks good doing so. The amount of energy he exudes with every move makes it hard to believe the actor is 50-years-old! When you actually see the two versions he has created of himself on-screen, the hard-work put into this movie is evident.

In what seems like a very character-driven movie, this song fits well with all the other promotional teasers and trailers we have seen for “Fan.” SRK is all bubbly and smiles, goofing around and adorably messing up his dance steps. The lyrics may not make the most sense—but that’s the point. It’s just one crazed fan telling everyone he’s a jabra fan of this actor. Luckily, the music is peppy and makes you instantly feel attached to this person and his madness.

In fact, if you truly are a fan of SRK—or any other celebrity, for that matter—you will relate to this song deeply. And for all of this to happen within just one song says something about how authentic we can expect this movie to be. With “Fan,” he clearly will break his own romantic hero stereotype as he has before with movies like “Chak De India,” and “Swades.” We can’t wait!

“Fan” releases April 15.
