New Delhi, April 18: A Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLC minister has been expelled by an Islamic organization for visiting Hindu temple in Lucknow city of Uttar Pradesh. As reported in DNA, Maulana Saalim Ashraf Qasmi, the head of the madrasa Darul Uloom Asharfia said that Bukkal Nawab has been expelled from Islam and the Muslim community for offering prayers to ‘a Hindu God’. In Islam, no one is allowed to worship an idol. This is non-Islamic and anyone following this act should be thrown out of the Islam. Bukkal Nawab, who was formerly associated with Samajwadi Party, recently joined BJP. He was nominated by the party to the Upper House. After visiting the temple, he had advocated for the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya. Reacting to the recent fatwa issued, Bukkal Nawab said that he was not bothered.  Reacting on this, Nawab said that he and his family is devout of Lord Hanuman and our constitution allow us to practice any religion.
