New Delhi: Several shanties were gutted after a fire broke out at Bangali Basti in Rohini area of the national capital on Ssaturday. Twelve fire tenders have been pressed into service to douse the flame. No casualties or injuries have been reported as of now. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. Earlier in the day, 14 people were injured after a minor fire broke out in the basement of ‘The Park’ hotel in the national capital. The injured were admitted to the Ganga Ram hospital after complaining of breathlessness. The incident happened on Saturday morning around 9 AM but the fire department received a call at 12.25 PM following which five fire tenders were rushed to the spot, Delhi fire service chief Atul Garg told IANS, adding that by the time the fire tenders reached there blaze had been brought under control.
