Fire Breaks Out at HDFC ATM in Gujarat’s Surat; no Casualty Reported

New Delhi: A fire broke out at HDFC bank ATM in Poona Gaon area of Surat, new agency ANI reported on Friday. Fire tenders were rushed at the spot and it is under control. A case has been registered and further investigation is underway. More details are awaited. Further, no casualties have been reported so far.

In a similar incident, a fire broke out in a tyre godown at Shreeji Tower in Ahmedabad. Fire tenders were present at the spot. “Fire broke out in a tyre showroom & godown on the ground floor of a residential cum commercial building. No injuries till now. Fire under control,” a fire official had said.

In another incident, a fire broke out at a cracker factory in West Bengal’s Nadia district, killing two people, police had said. The blaze occurred in Gangapur area of the district in this afternoon, Superintendent of Police Rakesh Kumar had said, adding it was brought under control.
Two men lost their lives in the incident, he said. The cause of the fire was not known immediately.
