New Delhi: In one day, yet another incident of fire has taken place in Gurugram on Sunday, just hours after a tragic fire incident claimed the lives of 43 people in the national capital.
As per preliminary updates, the fire has broken at a factory in Sector-8 of Manesar in Gurugram. The reason of the fire is yet to be ascertained. To bring it under control, six fire tenders have rushed to the spot. Fire-fighting operation is underway.

Earlier in the day, a massive fire broke out in a factory in Anaj Mandi at West Delhi’s Rani Jhansi Road area in which 43 people so far have lost their lives. The incident happened Between 4.30 AM and 5 AM when the workers were sleeping in the factory. However, police suspect that short circuit could be the cause behind the fire.
In a major development, a case has been registered under section 304 IPC against the building owner Rehan who is currently absconding.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal expressed grief over the incident and has ordered a magisterial inquiry into the matter. He has, meanwhile, also announced a compensation of Rs 10 lakhs each to the families of those dead and Rs 1 lakh each to those injured.
