Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat Tests Positive For Coronavirus

Informing he has contracted the virus in a tweet, the Union Minister urged all those who came in contact with him to isolate and get themselves tested.

New Delhi: Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat on Thursday said that he has tested positive for Coronavirus. He will be admitted to a hospital.

Informing he has contracted the virus in a tweet, the Union Minister urged all those who came in contact with him to isolate and get themselves tested.

Earlier this month, home minister Amit Shah had tested positive for the infectious disease. Nearly two weeks into the treatment, his report came negative. “I thank God and express my heartfelt gratitude to all those who have wished well for me and my family during this period. I Will stay in home isolation for a few more days on the advice of doctors,” Shah had tweeted.
