New Delhi: In yet another inhumane incident, a man in Ujjain district of Madhya Pradesh was allegedly beaten and thrashed by cow vigilantes.The video which is going viral on social media features a group of cow vigilantes mercilessly thrashing a man with belt accusing him of beating a cow whereas another man is seen capturing the whole incident on his phone.
According to the reports of ANI, the police have taken four person into the custody and search for others are underway. The victim who sustained severe injuries after the incident was rushed to the nearby hospital. However, Jiwajiganj police station in-charge O P Mishra told PTI that the accused had a dispute with the victim over money and therefore, they thrashed him.

The accused were identified as Chetan Sankhla, Vikas alias Bhura, Nilesh Sankhla and Shubham, have been booked under IPC sections pertaining to voluntarily causing hurt and criminal intimidation, Mishra said.
Earlier, a man named Pehlu Khan in Alwar district of Madhya Pradesh, was lynched to death on the suspicion of smuggling cows. However later on it was reported that he was a dairy farmer. The media report states that the 55-year-old Khan had set out on the 240-km road trip from his home in Jaisinghpur village to Jaipur to purchase milch cow so as to increase milk production during Ramzan.
