July 11: Indian Paranormal Society founder and CEO Gaurav Tiwari was found dead at his Dwarka home in Delhi on July 7. Tiwari was one of India’s most famous paranormal investigator. Gaurav who was a pilot and actor had taken interest in paranormal investigator in 2009. He was found dead in the bathroom of his flat on Thursday under mysterious circumstances. As per reports, his family said that Gaurav was completely normal and there was reason to kill himself.

The family said that around 11 am they heard a loud thud from the bathroom after which they forced open the door to find Gaurav lying unconscious on the floor. Although he was rushed to the nearby hospital, he was pronounced dead on arrival. The initial post-mortem report suggested a black line around the neck which was the suspected cause of death was asphyxia. Gaurav had married in January earlier this year and had told his wife that negative forces were pulling him towards it. Despite his best efforts he said that he found it difficult to control the energy. However, his wife did not take him seriously and thought that it was the work pressure. His aim was to educate people and bust myths regarding paranormal activities. The society he set up also used to conduct tours to haunted places. He was seen on different television channels in India, promoting Paranormal Research. He was a Certified Leading Paranormal Investigator, Certified UFO Field Investigator and a ParaNexus representative in India.

Gaurav had visited over 6,000 ‘haunted’ locations and investigated haunting. He was part of TV shows like Haunted Weekends with Sunny Leone and MTV’s Girl’s Night Out with VJ Ranvijay, Bhoot Aaya and Fear Files. (Image Credits- Gaurav Tiwari Facebook)
