Gaya, May 16: Teni Yadav, friend of Rocky Yadav who was present during the murder of Aditya Sachdeva, on Monday surrendered before a Gaya court. He has been sent to 14 day judicial custody. Bihar Police had arrested Rocky Yadav, the main accused in the murder case of murder of Sachdeva on last Tuesday. Rocky Yadav is the son of of JD(U) MLC Manorama Devi. Rocky was reportedly hiding in a factory in which his father, Bindi Yadav has business interest.
Police arrested Rocky’s father Bindi Yadav, along with his bodyguard last week. Manorama Devi was also detained for hours by Gaya Police on Monday for interrogation. The Sessions Court in Gaya on Saturday had ordered suspended Janata Dal (United) MLC Manorama Devi and her lawyer to appear before 11 am on May 20, else appropriate actions will be taken against her. Last week, a delegation of Union minister Ram Vilas Paswan’s LJP met President Pranab Mukherjee and demanded dismissal of the Nitish Kumar government over “deteriorating” law and order in the state. They also demanded CBI probe in the case and submitted a three-page memorandum submitted to the President.
Aditya was shot dead allegedly by Rocky for overtaking his vehicle. The incident has triggered widespread outrage and with the Opposition to attack the Nitish government. Rocky accused was arrested a few days back.
