Patna, November 8: The Grand Alliance is all set to win in the Bihar Assembly Elections as the trends and leads indicating the tides are in the favour of the Mahagathbandhan. The trolls have already started and while the ‘Bhakts’ will whole heartedly defend the Bharatiya Janata Party, their rivals will not let this oh-so-precious opportunity slide, to make fun of them and get the satisfaction in return. Such posters can be seen on the streets of Patna already. Posters trolling the tall claims of the BJP and their leaders by making their caricatures and sponsored by Grand Alliance, have started making appearance, ahead of the imminent victory that they are awaiting. ANI tweeted about the poster that was seen in Patna, that said “Haan Bhaiyya, Bihar mein Bahaar hai. Mr. Kumar phir ek baar hai” (Once again Bihar is prosperous as Mr. Kumar will rule once again). The poster showed a huge picture of the Nitish Kumar and caricatures of Amit Shah, Narendra Modi, Jitan Ram Manjhi, Chirag Paswan and Ram Vilas Paswan, huddling sadly together in one corner, their shoulders hunched due to their upcoming defeat in the elections. The caricature is an attack at the sweeping claims that Narendra Modi and others had made about their performance in the elections.
The verdict is still awaited, but the trends have prematurely declared a victory for the Nitish Kumar lead Grand Alliance. However, the Rashtriya Janata Dal lead by Lalu Prasad Yadav is expected to perform better than Kumar’s Janata Dal United, which will be the second highest winner, ahead of BJP in the third place. The Congress is also expected to fare better than expected, with a lead on some 21 seats till now. Meanwhile, media reports have suggested that BJP has sent back the order of sweets and crackers that it had given ahead of the Bihar verdict.
