Gujarat CM Vijay Raupani Launches 108 Mobile App Emergency Service

Rupani informed that those who would like to avail the emergency medical services need to open play store and download 108 that is absolutely free of cost.

Gandhinagar, Oct 23: The ruling Vijay Rupani government in Gujarat on Monday evening launched a mobile application for 108 Emergency ambulance services. “The person who uses this application would get the exact information like distance, arrival time,” route said the chief minister of Gujarat.

Rupani informed that those who would like to avail the emergency medical services need to open play store and download 108 that is absolutely free of cost. After completing the download process, one needs to register by filling basic information.

Whenever a person needs to avail the services, he/she just needs to press the 108 button and the person’s location would be traced automatically. With this process, one can save a lot of time like exchanging location and in explaining the accident spot etc.

The Gujarat government believes that this application will help in saving more lives. Also, as per Times of India, the mobile application would display the medical history of a patient and the pain he or she is having in any part. Also, with the app one can trace the information on the nearest available medical facility.

Rupani observed the live demonstration of 108. Currently, the dry state has around 585 ambulances pressed for 108 emergency which serves six crore people.

Rupani further stated that emergency services have become lifelines.
