Surat, April 16: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s massive roadshow in Surat city just concluded at Circuit House. This city has a strong hold of the Patidars and it is being speculated that the PM came here to woo them as the state goes into elections later this year.  PM Modi in his home state will be on a two-day visit. In the past nine months, he has visited Gujarat 8 times. In the next few months, as per Tv reports, many such events are being lined up for the PM. This is the first roadshow of PM Modi in his home state.

As he came out of the airport, he waved his hand to the crowd, which was chanting ‘Modi-Modi’. The cops are trying had to control the mob as to catch a glimpse of the PM they are trying to come on the road. The Gujarat elections will be held later in 2017, but the BJP has already pulled up its socks and has started the Gujarat marathon. Tomorrow PM will inaugurate a hospital in the city. As per reports, 600 cutouts, 5 gate structures have been put across the city. Also, a 30-feet tall statue of PM Modi has also been constructed. People there switched on their mobile flashlights to see Prime Minister Narendra Modi clearly as he proceeded with his roadshow in Surat.

The entire city has been decorated for PM’s visit and people have gathered in large numbers to catch a glimpse of the Prime Minister. The roadshow will be 11-kilometre long from  Surat airport to Circuit House where PM Modi will stay tonight. For this massive roadshow heavy force has been deployed. This roadshow comes right after PM conducted a roadshow in Bhubaneshwar ahead of the national executive meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Party.

Ahead of the roadshow, a sand art in Surat was made for Swachh Bharat at Parle Point. As seen on news channels, people on motorcycles are moving on the 11 kilometers stretch holding BJP flags in their hands and these bikers will also escort PM Modi to the Circuit House along with security forces. It is estimated that 10,000 bikers will escort PM.

At the airport, PM was received by Gujarat Prime Minister Vijay Rupani and other members of the saffron party. For this roadshow, BJP workers have worked hard to turn this into a grand event and show their strength.
