Gurugram: At least four members of a family were found dead in Pataudi’s Brijpura village- nearly 50-kilometres away from Gurugram, on Wednesday. While three members of a family were already found dead, the fourth member, a one-year-old child who was recovered alive at that time later succumbed to her critical injuries at the hospital during treatment. The police have identified the victims as the family of a 25-year-old named Manish. According to the police, Manish’s wife’s body was found hanging while the bodies of two members both Manish and his mother were found lying on the floor covered in a pool of blood. The incident came to light after the village sarpanch came to visit the family. As per sources, the village Sarpanch said that the door of victims’ house was wide open and the village head went inside to check if things were alright. It was then that he found the dead bodies and immediately called on the cops.
Reportedly, the daughter-in-law killed the mother-in-law and husband and later committed suicide. However, this has not been established yet and authorities are verifying the reason behind the deaths. An investigation has been launched into the matter.
As of now, the police have detained the bodies for post-mortem investigation.
