Gurugram: Father Rapes Two Minor Daughters Several Times For Six Months, Arrested

The elder daughter of the couple told the police that her father first forced himself on her when her mother was away and the two sisters were alone with their father.

Gurugram, Mar 23: A middle-aged man has been arrested for allegedly raping his two minor daughters. The man, a shop owner in Sector 10 area, raped his daughters when their mother was away at her native place. The elder daughter of the couple told the police that her father first forced himself on her when her mother was away and the two sisters were alone with him.

The 15-year-old girl registered a complaint against her father which stated that he took advantage of the fact that they (the sisters) would be alone in the house with him.

The victim told the police that she and her sister were sleeping when her father removed her clothes and raped her. “I was shocked and numbed by the pain that he inflicted on me. My younger sister lay motionless as she was too shocked and terrified to react. I was too scared to narrate my ordeal to anyone,” she told the police.

Since that day, her father raped her thrice on different occasions but out of fear and shame, she didn’t reveal it to anyone. On March 5, her 12-year-old sister told her that their father had sexually assaulted her several times in the past six months. Her father had warned the younger one against reporting it to anyone.

“I was shocked to learn that my father had been raping my sister as well. We are in shock and pain and want the police to act against our father,” the victim said in her complaint.

A case has been registered against the man under Pocso (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) Act.
