New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday held Congress responsible for the creation of Pakistan. “Had Congress leaders acted wisely during the pre- independence era, this Pakistan would not have born,” said PM Modi while addressing a rally in Maharashtra’s Latur. He also lambasted the Congress over its manifesto for Lok Sabha elections 2019 alleging that the grand old party is speaking Pakistan’s language. “What Pakistan is saying, the same thing is evident in the Congress manifesto. “Ye keh rahe hain ki desh se hum, deshdroh ka kanoon hataenge main zara Congress walon se kehta hun ki darpan main ja ke apna mooh dekho, aap ke mooh main manav adhikar ki baten shobha nahi deti. Congress walon ne Bala Sahab Thackrey ka matdaan karne ka adhikaar cheen liya tha (They are saying, they will omit sedition law. I want to tell them that human rights talks does not suit you. He added,”The Congress says Article 370 won’t be removed. Congress party’s ‘Dhakosala Patra’ speaks the same language as that of Pakistan.” Modi also appeared to be treading sensitive ground by asking first-time voters to dedicate their first vote to those who carried out air strike in Balakot. “Can your first vote be dedicated to those who carried out air strike,” Modi said, appealing to first-time voters. He accused the Congress and its ally NCP of standing with those who want a separate Prime Minister for Jammu and Kashmir. PM Modi said this in an apparent reference to National Conference (NC) leader Omar Abdullah‘s recent statement wherein he had advocated a separate prime minister for Jammu and Kashmir.
“Congress and NCP are now standing with those who advocate for a separate PM in J&K. Sharad sa’ab, you are standing with such people! The country has no expectations with Congress party but Sharad sa’ab you! Does it suit you?” PM Modi asked.
