New Delhi: In his first address to Delhiites, who reposed their faith for the third time on Kejriwal, the to-be third-time Chief Minister of Delhi displayed his two masterstrokes. Just ahead of the polls, there was much Hindutva controversy surrounding Kejriwal after he recited Hanuman Chalisa during one television interview. The Hindutva brigade got irked and said that now AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi would also start chanting Hanuman Chalisa.
A day before the election, the CM was spotted offering prayers to a Hanuman temple, to which BJP leaders took offence and said that Kejriwal made Hanumanji impure by visiting the temple.
“Today is Tuesday, Hanumanji’s day. We have his blessings,” the CM said.
