Vice President Venkaiah Naidu wished for a Holi that breaks barries. “This Holi, let us strive to strengthen the bonds of friendship and amity that hold our society together. Let this festival break the barriers that divide us and unite us in the quest for shared prosperity, peace, progress, harmony and joy.”

This year, many Holi gatherings have been cancelled in the fear of coronavirus. PM Modi had announced last week that he would not participate in any Holi event this year. Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, too, cancelled their Holi programmes.
