New Delhi, Jan 22: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, President Ram Nath Kovind and many other politicos on Monday extended greetings to the nation on the auspicious occasion of Basant Panchami. The festival, which marks the onset of spring, is celebrated all over India in various ways depending on the region.
Taking to Twitter, PM posted, “Greetings on Basant Panchami. I pray that this auspicious occasion makes our society happier and even more harmonious. May the blessings of Maa Saraswati always remain with us and bestow us with wisdom,” the Prime Minister tweeted.

President Ram Nath Kovind also took to the micro-blogging site and tweeted,”Greetings to all fellow citizens on Basant Panchami and on the occasion of Saraswati Puja. Apart from President and Prime Minister, many political leaders also wished the nation on Basant Panchami.
