Himachal Pradesh: Five Houses in Ghayagi Village in Kullu’s Banjaar Gutted Into fire, no Casualties so Far

Black smoke was seen emanating from the building. The cause of the fire is still unknown.

Himachal Pradesh, May 1: A fire broke out in five houses of Ghayagi village located in Kullu district. Fire brigades have not been able to reach the spot yet due to lack of proper road connectivity. As of now, locals are trying to douse the flames. No casualties have been reported so far.
Black smoke was seen emanating from the building. The cause of the fire is still unknown.

 In an earlier incident on April 18, 40 houses were gutted in a fire that broke out at Kaishani village of Shimla district in the wee hours of Wednesday morning. The locals helped in dousing the fire by the time fire tenders reached the spot. No casualty was reported. The reason behind the fire was not ascertained.
