Jai Ram Thakur takes oath as Himachal Pradesh CM.

Shimla, Dec 27: Jai Ram Thakur took oath as the 13th Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh on Wednesday in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP national president Amit Shah, Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, among others. Thakur will be administered oath of secrecy by Governor Acharya Dev Vrat. Mahendra Singh, Suresh Bhardwaj, Anil Sharma, Sarveen Choudhary, Ram Lal Markanda, Vipin Singh Parmar, Virender Kanwar, Vikram Singh, Govind Singh and Kishan Kapoor were sworn in as ministers in the Cabinet of Jai Ram Thakur.

Earlier on Tuesday, Vijay Rupani once again took oath as Chief Minister of Gujarat. He was administered the oath of office and secrecy by Gujarat Governor Om Prakash Kohli at the Gandhinagar Sachivalaya Ground. Along with Rupani, nine Cabinet ministers and 10 Minister of States also took the oath. Nitin Patel was sworn in as Deputy Chief Minister of Gujarat.The five-time MLA from Seraj in Mandi was elected leader of the BJP legislature party on Sunday after the party ousted the Congress from power in the state by winning 44 out of the 68 seats in the Assembly polls.
