New Delhi, July 7: Howrah-bound Rajdhani Express train has been halted at Ghaziabad after departing from New Delhi Railway Station after authorities received a bomb threat call  on Saturday.

Following the call, a bomb squad with dogs and other devices have been rushed to spot. They are currently checking all compartments.

As per a report of news agency ANI, the train was stopped shortly after leaving the New Delhi railway station and all the passengers were asked to deboard. More details in the incident awaited.

Earlier in May, a similar incident was reported from Kolkata Metro station after an abandoned can lying near an escalator at Rabindra Sadan station created a flutter as commuters suspected it to be a bomb which turned out to be a hoax later.
