Hyderabad, Dec 9: A paying guest hostel owner’s son was on Friday arrested for allegedly video-graphing a woman lecturer while she was taking bath in the washroom. The incident happened on Thursday and came to light when the woman noticed someone making a video of her from a small gap in the ventilator of the bathroom. Later, she approached the nearby police station and lodged a complaint. She narrated the whole matter to the police and even informed that the mobile phone, used to film her, was golden in colour. When the police reached the PG hostel to search for the person using a gold-coloured phone, they came across hostel owner’s son Chandrahas. Chandrahas, when taken into custody and questioned, confessed to the crime. As per a report in The Times of India, he also told the police officials that he shot the video only for 10 seconds and deleted it immediately as the victim had noticed him. The accused has been produced in the court and sent to judicial remand.
