Lucknow, February 7: All the 445 students of the two-year postgraduate programme at Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Lucknow in the 2016-2018 batch have bagged 100 per cent placement.
During placements, 454 offers were made by 143 recruiters, including 47 new employers. There has been a 20 per cent increase in the number of pre-placement offers, 30 per cent increase in the number of offers from the higher entry placement process, and 220 from final placements, the Hindustan Times reported.
“This year’s placements reinforced IIM Lucknow’s presence among the top B-schools in the country and proved that it is a preferred destination for organisations that select barely 2-3 B-schools to recruit,” said Professor Nishant Uppal, chairman of students’ affairs and placement.
Prominent recruiters were Aditya Birla Group, Amazon, Accenture, Citi, Deloitte, Everest Group, Flipkart, Hinduja, KPMG, PwC, Paytm, Tredence Analytics, and Yes Bank.
In this placement season, firms such as Alvarez and Marsal, Citi Markets, Kotak, McKinsey and Company, Fidelity, MasterCard Advisors and Boston Consulting Group participated.
Students were majorly selected for profiles — IT/systems management, category management, sales enablement, business development, supply chain management, product marketing, strategic alliances, programme manager and analytics.
