February 15: Congress is set to launch their high-pitched electoral campaign in Assam. Party Vice President Rahul Gandhi is set to undertake a two-day tour to the poll bound state. Meanwhile, in the national capital, the sedition row in Jawaharlal Nehru University is set to escalate as the students union along with teachers are set to boycott the academic sessions protesting against the alleged political and ideological vendetta initiated against them by the Centre. In Mumbai, Make In India event will continue as per schedule despite the massive fire breaking out last night during the cultural programme at Girgaum Chowpatty.

JNU sedition row: Student Union President Kanhaiya Kumar to be produced in court today
The tension in JNU is set to escalate on Monday as the Students’ and Teachers’ Union have demanded the Centre to drop the draconian sedition charges against Kanhaiya Kumar. The academic session in JNU will remain boycotted till the government does not accept their demand. Kanhaiya will be produced in court by Delhi Police today to seek extension of his custody. Rahul Gandhi to begin electoral campaign in Assam
With less than three months remaining for the Assam Assembly elections, Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi will kickoff party’s electoral campaign in the poll bound state. Curfew imposed in Srinagar after separatist group calls for strike

Make in India event to continue as per schedule on third day
The Make in India event in Mumbai will continue as per schedule despite a massive fire breaking out at cultural event in Girgaum Chowpatty last night. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis assured that security level has been enhanced and technical glitches have been looked into. The various activities planned throughout the day will continue as mentioned in the schedule. Baby Shower in B-town
Bollywood actresses Genelia Deshmukh and Kanchi Kaul, along with Salman Khan’s sister Arpita Khan Sharma received baby shower on this Valentines. The trio are soon-to-be-mothers.
