India Pakistan war: Turkish Kamikaze drone recovered from Jammu and Kashmir's Naushera, civilians targeted

Tensions at the India-Pakistan border have escalated further as Turkish-origin kamikaze drones were recovered in Jammu and Kashmir’s Naushera area and Amritsar in Punjab on Saturday. These drones, designed to explode on impact, were reportedly launched by Pakistan and aimed at testing India’s air defence systems, according to Indian defence officials. The latest developments come amid Pakistan’s continued targeting of civilian infrastructure across India’s border districts. The recovered drone in Naushera is believed to be of Turkish make, raising concerns about the foreign military support being utilized in cross-border strikes.

“Intrusions by drones were attempted at multiple locations along our western border,” said a senior Indian official. “Based on preliminary analysis, the drones appear to be of Turkish origin and may have been used to probe and test Indian air defences.”

Turkish Byker YIHA III Drones Found in Amritsar

In a separate incident, Byker YIHA III kamikaze drones were recovered from different spots in Amritsar, Punjab, after they were launched early Saturday morning. Indian defence forces confirmed they were intercepted mid-air or crashed before reaching their targets.

These drones are equipped for precision targeting and destructive payload delivery, and their use signals a dangerous escalation in the nature of the conflict. Officials are currently analyzing the recovered drones for technical data and potential links to foreign suppliers.

High alert in border villages

Villages in the Naushera, Rajouri, and Poonch sectors have been placed on high alert, with additional troops and air defence systems deployed. Locals have been advised to stay indoors, and bunkers are being used for safety.

Meanwhile, Indian forces remain on guard, responding swiftly to any cross-border threats and vowing to protect every inch of Indian territory.
