The situation at India’s Line Of Control (LoC) remains grim as Pakistan continues ceasefire violations. Indian Army is giving a befitting reply to Pakistan’s breach of trust time and again. There have been over 19 ceasefire violations in the last 8 days. The Pakistani troops targeted civilian areas after their repeated failed attempts to inflict damage on Border Security Forces (BSF) posts. Director General of BSF said, “The BSF have been retaliating ‘very strongly’ to the ceasefire violations.”

Due to the ceasefire violations that have continued over the last few days, over 19,000 border residents have migrated from their homes to safer areas. There were talks of Pakistan calling for a flag meeting earlier in the day but the Indian Army refused to hold talks saying that guns and talks cannot go hand-in-hand. Home Minister Rajnath Singh said, “India doesn’t want to indulge in a war with a neighboring country, but if someone needles us, we will give a befitting reply.”

The neighboring countries have shared a shallow history for more than 60 years after Independence. Both, Indian and Pakistani social media users have gone in a Twitter frenzy mode. The Twitterati in in both the countries have been posting their thoughts regarding the matter aggressively. We look at a snippet of India vs Pakistan Twitter War in the tweets below:
