New Delhi, March 31: The Indian Railways who are one of the biggest employer in the world is set to conduct the biggest online exam which will be held between March and may this year. The Indian Railway’s Department of Information and Public Relations reportedly said that the recruitment will take place on a very large scale that why the exams will be conducted in 76 shifts from March to May during weekends. Ved Prakash, official spokesperson of Indian Railways said that the organisation is giving job seeking candidates a lot of facilities this time and they can choose among 1192 centres across different cities in India. Among the 18,525 generated posts with Indian Railways there are 703 posts for Commercial Apprentice, Traffic Apprentice – 1645 posts, Enquiry cum Reservation Clerk – 127 posts, Goods Guard – 7591 posts, Junior Accountant cum Amanuensis – 1205 Posts, Senior Clerk cum typist – 869 posts, Assistant Station Master – 5942 Posts, Transport Assistant – 166 Posts, Senior Time Keeper – 04 Posts.

The details have been given by the Indian Railway’s through their official twitter handle in which they also mentioned that this is one of the biggest exams for recruitment ever.

In Railway Budget 2016, Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu had strongly emphasised on technology. Prabhu announced an online portal for recruitment in railways, a better e-ticketing system, e-catering, free wifi on 400 stations, entertainment systems in trains and Research and Development department among railways for future improvements.
