Jammu, Mar 8: Sunia has made her family proud after she topped the merit list of Women Officers Technical Entry (Civil Engineering) of Indian Army. She will join the Indian Army on the Lieutenant rank. There is celebration in her village Bharakh in Puni Tesil of Reasi in Jammu and Kashmir after the result was declared on February 27. Sunia’s grandfather, late Th Suram Singh Chib was veteran of JAK Rifles and her father Sub Jagdev Singh Chib is veteran of Artillery. Sunia says that her family has been supportive in making her achieve her dream of serving the Indian Army.
