New Delhi, June 21: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lead a crow of 51,000 in doing yoga in Lucknow on the third edition of the International Yoga Day, also known as International Day of Yoga and World Yoga Day. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and several other dignitaries will join the mega event in Lucknow to mark the International Yoga Day 2017. The DD News and Doordarshan will host the live streaming of the International Yoga Day event in Lucknow. To mark the International Yoga Day 2017, more than 50,000 people will gather at Lucknow’s Ramabhai Ambedkar Sabha Sthal. The mega event will start at 6 a.m, according to the Ayush Ministry. Massive security arrangements have been put in place in the Uttar Pradesh capital for the World Yoga Day event. This year, the theme for the International Yoga Day celebration, organized by the Permanent Mission of India to the United Nations, is ‘Yoga for Health’. The United Nations declared June 21 as the International Yoga Day on December 11, 2014. The first International Yoga Day function held on June 21, 2015, at Rajpath in New Delhi witnessed PM Narendra Modi performing Yoga along with over 200 million people across the country. The second edition was held in Chandigarh with the participation of over 30,000 people in the presence of the Prime Minister.
