Bandipora, June 5: A group of terrorists on Tuesday attacked an Army post at Hajin in Bandipora district of Jammu and Kashmir. At least four to six militants attacked the Army camp of 13 Rashtriya Rifles and Hajin police station from two sides and fired around eight rounds of Underbarrel Grenade Launcher towards Army & police. The incident was reported at around 8:30 PM on Tuesday night. The vicinity, where the attack has taken place, also has a police station and SOG camp. The army post and police station are said to be safe. More details are awaited.

The Bandipora terrorist attack has come a day after some terrorists hurled a grenade at security forces deployed at Pulwama‘s Tahab Chowk in Jammu and Kashmir.

Within a span of few hours, another attack was reported in Shopian in Jammu and Kashmir. At least eight people including a constable were injured in the grenade attack on police party at Batapora Chowk in Shopian.

According to the police, militants hurled a grenade at a police party stationed in Shopian town. The grenade missed its target and exploded on a roadside, injuring the civilians.
