Bandipora, June 5: A group of terrorists on Tuesday attacked an Army post at Hajin in Bandipora district of Jammu and Kashmir. The incident was reported at around 8:30 PM when a group of terrorists hurled grenades at the Army post. The incident was reported at around 8:30 PM on Tuesday night. The vicinity, where the attack has taken place, also has a police station and SOG camp. The army post and police station are said to be safe. More details are awaited.
The Bandipora terrorist attack has come a day after some terrorists hurled a grenade at security forces deployed at Pulwama‘s Tahab Chowk in Jammu and Kashmir.
Within a span of few hours, another attack was reported in Shopian in Jammu and Kashmir. At least eight people including a constable were injured in the grenade attack on police party at Batapora Chowk in Shopian.
According to the police, militants hurled a grenade at a police party stationed in Shopian town. The grenade missed its target and exploded on a roadside, injuring the civilians.
