Jaipur: A six-year-old boy was crushed to death by his school bus, when he slipped through a large hole on the floor of the bus on Friday in the Karauli district.

Deputy superintendent of police in Karauli, Sampat Singh said that the incident took place around 8 am. A Hindustan Times report quoted the police officer, “Prima facie we have found that there was technical fault in the bus. There was gap on the floor on which Yash was sitting. As the driver applied brake he fell through that hole and was crushed by the rear wheels of the bus.”

Yash Gurjar (6) and his brother Sandeep (10) were students of Krishna Children’s Academy. Reportedly, Sandeep intimated the driver when his brother slipped through the hole, but the driver continued to drive, thus running the rear wheels of the bus over Yash.

Sandeep told HT, “I was shouting and telling the driver that Yash has fallen through the hole of the bus but he did not stop.”
