New Delhi, August 21: Around 12 people lost their lives and two were left injured after a vehicle in which they were travelling fell into the Chenab, 28 kilometres from Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday. The only survivor a five-year-old baby was immediately rushed to a hospital. Earlier on Monday, a similar accident took place in Kishtwar in which five people were killed and nine others were left injured. Speaking to PTI, Senior Superintendent of Police Rajinder Kumar Gupta had said,”The incident took place at Kulligad when huge boulders and debris suddenly came down from a hillock, trapping a mini-bus and a car plying on the Doda-Kishtwar road.”
