New Delhi: An encounter broke out on Wednesday between militants and security forces in Sopore area of Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla district, news agency ANI reported. Police said that the militants opened fire at the security forces, leading to an encounter. No casualties have been reported so far in the operation, he added. In November, four terrorists, belonging to Jaish-e-Mohammad terror outfit, were killed in an encounter in Budgam district. The security forces had launched a joint operation in Futlipora village of Pakharpora in central Kashmir’s Budgam following inputs of terrorists hiding there.
