Srinagar: In what could be a dastardly attack by terrorists, an explosion occurred in a school in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district, reported news agency ANI. The explosion took place at a private school, Falai-e-Millat at Narbal, at around 2.30 PM. Reportedly, 12 students have sustained injuries, their condition is stable. Also Read - Govt Asks Wikipedia to Remove Link that Shows Wrong Map of Jammu and Kashmir

Jawed Ahmed, a teacher at the private school when the explosion occurred, said, “I was teaching and then suddenly an explosion occurred. I can’t say how many students are injured.”
The incident comes hours after the security forces gunned down two militants in an encounter in Budgam district. Incriminating material, including arms and ammunition, was also recovered from the encounter site.
