A man was allegedly thrashed by locals on Tuesday at Srinagar’s Lal Chowk while he was trying to unfurl the National Flag. The man was later rescued by the security forces. More details are awaited.
Last year, Shiv Sena had sent its workers to hoist the national flag at Srinagar’s Lal Chowk area which had led to a massive furore.
