New Delhi: Pakistan Army violated ceasefire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Nowshera sector of Rajouri in Jammu and Kashmir on Monday. India is strongly retaliating to the indiscriminate firing. The unprovoked firing from Pakistan side began in the morning. Currently, the firing is underway from both sides. More details are awaited.
Earlier on Sunday, the Pakistani troops had violated ceasefire along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Karmara area of Poonch district. Pakistani forces were targeting the forward positions and residential areas. However, no casualty or injury was reported.
On December 18, Pakistan had violated ceasefire violation. The incident comes a little week later after a Border Security Force (BSF) personnel were killed while another sustained injuries in an unprovoked ceasefire violation by Pakistan.
Captain Prosenjit Biswas and Captain Mansa Ram had sustained critical gunshot wounds during the incident, with the former succumbing to his injuries.
