Srinagar, Mar 10: Pakistan violated ceasefire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir. The Indian Army is strongly retaliating to the heavy firing and mortar shelling by Pakistan in Krishna Ghati sector. More details are awaited. Earlier on Friday, an Indian Army soldier was left injured as Pakistan resorted to unprovoked firing along the LoC in Uri sector. Pakistan troops also indiscriminate firing in Poonch sector on Friday. “The troops at 09:30 a.m. resorted to firing of small arms, automatics and mortars,” Public Relation Officer, Jammu was quoted as saying by ANI. The Indian Army retaliated strongly and effectively.

On Thursday, ceasefire was violated by Pakistan in Sundervani sector of Rajouri district.
