Jammu And Kashmir: Pakistan Violates Ceasefire in Nowshera Sector of Rajouri

New Delhi, Jul 31: Pakistan violated ceasefire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Nowshera sector of Rajouri in Jammu and Kashmir, ANI reported on Tuesday. The Indian Army is strongly retaliating to the heavy firing. No loss to life or damage to property has been reported so far. More details are awaited.

On Monday, terrorists had hurled a grenade at a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) party at Sherbagh in Anantnag district. Three CRPF personnel had sustained injuries in the attack launched by the terrorists.

On May 23, six civilians were injured in the grenade attack at Bijbehara town of Anantnag district. Two days later, two policemen and a civilian were injured in a similar attack at a bus stand on Jammu’s BC road.

Meanwhile, an intelligence agency has warned that Pakistan based terror groups — Lashkar-a-Taiba (LeT) and Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) are planning to launch Pathankot style attack on India, a report said. The terrorists will target Indian Naval Base and for this, they are being given underwater attack training and deep sea techniques to attack the Navy, it was claimed.
