Jammu And Kashmir: Pakistan Violates Ceasefire in Rajouri, Indian Army Retaliates

Srinagar, February 27: The Pakistan Army initiated unprovoked and indiscriminate firing at 8:45 AM in Bhimber Gali sector, Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday. The Indian Army retaliated effectively.

The Pakistan army used small arms, automatics weapons and mortars in along the Line of Control (LoC).

School children were left stranded at school due to ceasefire violation in Rajouri district. “There has been heavy shelling so we have asked the students to wait. We will leave them only when firing stops,” the school headmaster said.

“This will continue to happen. The firing will continue to happen on both sides unless the two nations decide to think of peace. The sooner they think about it, the sooner it will stop,” National Conference leader Farooq Abdullah said.

On Monday, the Pakistani army violated ceasefire in Nowshera and Rajouri districts.
