Srinagar, Jan 22: At least one police constable was injured after terrorists hurled a grenade at police station in Kashmir’s Baramulla on Monday. After the attack, armed forces along with Jammu and Kashmir police launched an operation to nab the culprit.Unconfirmed reports suggested that the security forces shot several rounds of fire after the attack. Kashmir remained under a tense situation after unprovoked firing from Pakistan Army left one person dead in Kanachak area of Akhnoor sector on Sunday. “Pakistan has resumed heavy shelling along LoC in Bhawani, Karali, Said, Numb and Sher Makri areas of Rajouri district this evening,” DC, Rajouri, Shahid Iqbal Choudhary said. Sepoy C K Roy, posted in a forward post in Mankote sector of Poonch district, was injured in Pakistani firing yesterday and succumbed to injuries at a military hospital last night, a police official said.
