New Delhi, Feb 11: A pregnant woman, who was seriously injured during the terror attack on an Army camp in Jammu and Kashmir‘s Sunjuwan area, delivered a baby girl on Saturday.  The 35-year-old pregnant woman was reportedly shot in her lower back after the terrorists targeted the security forces and civilians. She was immediately evacuated by an Army chopper and rushed to a military hospital where a C section was performed on her. Later, the woman delivered a healthy baby girl weighing 2.5 kgs. On Saturday, a Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) and a Non-Commissioned Officer were martyred after terrorists stormed in the Sunjawan Army camp in Jammu on Saturday morning. In retaliatory action, three terrorists were also killed. The operation is still underway.

In the attack, nine people, including five women and children were injured and two of them were admitted to hospital with critical injuries. In few minutes, 150 residential houses were evacuated. Operations will continue till all terrorists are arrested or killed, the Army said in a statement.

The terrorists entered from the rear side of the camp of the 36 Army Brigade and barged into the JCO family quarters in the garrison and opened fire on them.
