Srinagar, Feb 25: The guard who was fired upon by the terrorists in Budgam district of Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday has succumbed to his injuries. The incident was reported from Charari Sharief area. Security forces have cordoned off the area.
Earlier, the injured guard was rushed to the hospital in a critical condition.

Earlier on February 22, an Army jawan was injured after terrorists opened fire on a search party in Paribal area of Hajin in Bandipora district of North Kashmir during a cordon and search operation.
Speaking to Greater Kashmir, an Army official had said that the militants hiding in the village opened fire after a search party approached them, leaving an Army man Gobind Singh of 13 Para Hajin camp injured.
