Srinagar, Mar 1: A terrorist has been killed in an encounter with the security forces in Bandipora district of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday. The exchange of fire was reported from Hajin area. On February 26, a security personnel was injured after terrorists hurled grenade at a police station in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir. As per reports, the injured person was identified as constable Mehrajuddin.

Meanwhile, on Sunday evening, one security guard was killed after militants attacked a security guard post near Charar-e-Sharief shrine in Budgam district. Identified as constable Kultar Singh of the Jammu and Kashmir Armed Police 13th Battalion, the injured security guard was rushed to the hospital in an injured state where he succumbed to his injuries.

On February 22, an Army man was reportedly injured after terrorists opened fire on a search party in Paribal area of Hajin in Bandipora district of North Kashmir on Thursday. A cordon and search operation was launched over specific inputs of terrorists hiding in the region.
