Srinagar, May 4: Army patrol party was on Thursday evening attacked by terrorists in the Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir, reported news agency ANI. As per Tv reports, the search operation is on, the area has been cordoned off and the firing is underway. As per Indian Express, today, in a joint operation, the Amy, police and CRPF headed to Kashmir’s Shopian district to find out the hiding militants. Around 4,000 troops were a part of this operation, even drones and choppers were used to trace the militants. The security forces had also searched houses of people.

On May 2, terrorists belonging to the Hizbul Mujahideen group had five police constables and two bank officials by firing on a cash van of J&K bank.
