Srinagar, Jul 26: Five Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel were injured in a grenade attack by terrorists at Bijbehara of Anantnag district in Jammu and Kashmir. As per reports, the terrorists hurled grenade at CRPF bunker in Zerpora. The forces are currently carrying out a search operation in the area. Earlier in the day, one terrorist was gunned down by security forces in an encounter in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kupwara district. In recent months, the state has witnessed a huge spurt in terror activities.

On Wednesday, two terrorists were killed by security forces on Wednesday in an encounter in Jammu and Kashmir’s
Anantnag district. Another encounter between the terrorists and security forces was reported on Wednesday in Kupwara.

On July 24, an army man was killed and two others sustained bullet injuries after terrorists  attacked the Central Reserve Police Force party at Srinagar’s Batmaloo area.
